Sales Enablement Lead

Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 USD (base salary) This role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Enablement Lead to enhance our sales effectiveness through improved tools, comprehensive training, and better cross-functional alignment. You will be instrumental in optimizing our go-to-market engine by:

  • Onboarding new sales representatives.
  • Refining our sales playbook.
  • Extracting key insights from Gong.
  • Ensuring our team effectively communicates our value proposition.

You will collaborate closely with Sales Managers to train Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), develop scalable enablement programs, and bridge the gap between product, marketing, and sales. Additionally, you will manage our internal sales enablement content in Guru, assist reps with product changes, and ensure our messaging aligns with the company's strategic direction.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact strategic individual contributor role.

What you'll do:

  • Build and manage enablement programs for AEs and SDRs, including onboarding, 30/60/90-day plans, and continuous skill development.
  • Own sales documentation, working with product marketing to maintain and update battlecards, talk tracks, objection handling guides, and positioning materials.
  • Maintain Guru as the definitive source for sales content and process knowledge.
  • Analyze Gong data to identify competitive insights, common objection themes, product feedback, and win/loss patterns, relaying these learnings to leadership and marketing.
  • Partner with marketing to prepare sales teams for product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Support training on new product features and ensure reps can demonstrate them accurately.
  • Proactively identify and propose solutions for gaps in our sales processes or pitch.
  • Analyze sales performance data to pinpoint areas for improvement in sales processes and create programs that align with sales goals and leverage SalesLoft's capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience building or managing enablement programs at a SaaS company, particularly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with a strong understanding of what sales representatives need to succeed.
  • A talent for creating structure, simplifying complex information, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • A deep understanding of sales psychology and the ability to create tools that are readily adopted by the sales team.
  • Enthusiasm for shaping our go-to-market enablement strategies rather than just maintaining existing ones.
