The Director of Business Development will be responsible for developing and managing the go-to-market strategy, translating technical capabilities into business development initiatives, and conducting market and competitor analysis. They will lead all stages of opportunity capture, manage administrative execution of corporate contracting processes, and ensure compliance with regulations like ITAR/EAR. Additionally, the role involves driving government relations, cultivating relationships with government end users, representing the company at industry events, and mentoring business development staff to foster a collaborative culture.
