The Sales Development Representative role supports the Xplor Recreation brand within the Fitness & Wellbeing vertical. This is a SaaS platform specifically designed to help parks and recreation agencies across North America streamline operations, enhance community engagement, and manage programs, facilities, memberships, and payments in one centralized solution.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Xplor Recreation, you will be at the forefront of our lead generation efforts, with a primary focus on inbound opportunities (approximately 60%) and a secondary focus on outbound outreach (approximately 40%). You will play a critical role in identifying and engaging prospective clients, qualifying inbound demo requests, and expanding our market presence through strategic discovery.
Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will collaborate closely with members of the Sales and Marketing teams. Your responsibilities will include responding to inbound interest, prioritizing outreach efforts, and converting leads into qualified opportunities through discovery conversations. Success in this role hinges on your ability to communicate clearly, build rapport quickly, and understand client needs.
This position is essential for building a strong pipeline of new opportunities and plays a critical part in our company’s growth. We are looking for someone driven, resourceful, and adept at creating meaningful connections. You will excel by leveraging strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to consistently engage prospects and deliver value. You will also support outbound prospecting efforts, contributing to overall pipeline development and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
This position offers a hybrid and flexible working model. You will be expected to spend 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home.
