As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Grafana Labs, you will be instrumental in guiding users and prospects through their Grafana journey. Your role involves engaging with and understanding user needs to provide them with relevant resources. You will collaborate with the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities, contributing directly to the company's revenue goals. Furthermore, this position is designed to help you develop valuable, transferable skills for your career advancement. By fulfilling these core missions, you will significantly contribute to Grafana Labs' community and business objectives.

In this role, you will manage both reactive (inbound inquiries) and proactive (outreach to target accounts) work. A detective mindset is crucial for researching and crafting thoughtful, value-add messaging. You will need to be confident in driving business conversations over the phone and adept at using AI to enhance productivity.

This is a demanding yet rewarding role in a fast-paced, challenging environment. While the company is growing sustainably, there is still significant building and improvement underway. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain knowledge of Grafana's technology, competitors, open-source ecosystem, and industry trends.
  • Follow up on inbound leads effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactively outreach to new leads within target accounts using a multi-channel approach (email, social, calling).
  • Utilize Salesforce and Grafana dashboards for lead and account management and research.
  • Prioritize and customize outreach to target prospects and accounts via email and LinkedIn, leveraging research and data.
  • Drive effective discovery conversations to understand user needs and goals, and communicate how Grafana can assist them.
  • Consistently meet new business opportunity and pipeline targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to achieve collective success.
