Why This Role is Exciting

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for our senior sales team. This position involves managing the flow of incoming leads from various marketing campaigns and sponsored events. Our SDR team is a vital component of our revenue organization, driving the next wave of company growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, a strong work ethic, self-discipline, and excellent time management skills. Responsibilities extend beyond generating new business opportunities to include maintaining SFDC and Outreach hygiene, managing the daily pipeline to ensure MQLs are zeroed out daily, and collaborating with marketing to target quality leads. This role offers significant career development and growth opportunities for high performers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Bring a world-class solution to market and serve as the initial point of contact for AuditBoard.
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel AuditBoard’s growth.
  • Discover and engage new leads using tools such as Outreach, Qualified, Orum, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Manage your lead pipeline, achieve target numbers, and maintain opportunity hygiene.
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in demand-generation campaigns.
  • Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly metrics, including sales activities, opportunity generation, qualified leads, and new contacts prospected.

Attributes for a Successful Candidate

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS).
  • Required: 1+ years of prior inbound/outbound sales experience within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Required: Demonstrated cold calling and LinkedIn prospecting skills.
  • Preferred: Audit or Accounting background.
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy, ever-changing environment.
  • Possess a "go-getter" attitude, turning "No!" into "Yes!".
  • Be coachable and receptive to feedback and direction for learning and growth.
  • Be confident using platforms like SalesForce, LinkedIn, Orum, and Outreach (training provided if unfamiliar).
  • Be committed to lifelong learning and continuous personal and professional development.
  • Exhibit friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and empathetic professional communication skills; possess the ability to think on your feet.
  • Be highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities.
