Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in a prospecting role and a University degree from an accredited institution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German at a native or fluent level are required, along with strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills. Candidates must be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and have an understanding of workflow systems and their application to customer business process improvement. Strong PC skills are required, with knowledge of Salesforce being a plus. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to manage time effectively, and have a prior track record of achievement in accountable positions. A passion for technology and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment are essential.
As a Sales Development Representative at Snowflake, you will generate meetings through proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management. You will work directly with marketing to identify opportunities from leads and set appointments. Strong selling and influencing skills will be used to establish qualified appointments, and you will provide high-level introductions to the Snowflake Database. You will log, track, and maintain outbound activity, work closely with Sales Directors, and attend customer meetings as required. Additionally, you will participate in sales meetings, vendor training, and local trade shows to stay current with technology.
