An ownership mentality is essential, along with strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. A results-oriented mindset is required, with a motivation to hit and exceed targets, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Nice to have qualifications include experience in a fast-growing startup environment and technical fluency with an educational background in Computer Science, Software Development, Data, or Engineering.
The Sales Development Representative will build the sales pipeline by identifying, targeting, and engaging potential customers through various outreach methods. They will secure qualified meetings for Account Executives and may assist in closing accounts as they grow. Collaboration with the product team is necessary to relay customer feedback and shape the product roadmap. The representative will develop and iterate on messaging in partnership with leadership and marketing, educate prospects about the platform's value, and track and log activities in HubSpot and other sales tools. Additionally, they will create and iterate on top-of-funnel processes as the company grows.
