Position Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wander, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by identifying and nurturing potential clients. You’ll focus on outbound cold calling and pitching, serving as the initial point of contact, ensuring smooth hand-offs to Account Executives (AEs), maintaining engagement, and guaranteeing timely follow-ups. This role offers significant commission potential for securing high-quality “10/10” homes, playing a vital role in our sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cold Calling and Pitching: Proactively contact and present Wander’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Thorough Discovery Process: Conduct in-depth research and qualification of leads to determine their needs and fit.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and coordinate Deep Dive meetings, including adding calls to calendars with video conferencing links.
  • Meeting Participation and Documentation: Attend Deep Dive meetings, take detailed notes, and review call recordings for continuous learning.
  • Create Projections & Capex Requirements: Develop projections and capex requirements ahead of each call.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain open communication, ensuring timely follow-ups and addressing any concerns.
  • Contract Review: Schedule and attend contract review calls, adding them to calendars with video conference links.
  • Send Summaries: Send summaries and follow-up after a week if contracts remain unsigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be live in PST, CST, MST, or EST.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the travel or real estate industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, Google Docs, and Zoom.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
