Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Medical Imaging

Position Overview

Clario is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Medical Imaging Business Development team. The SDR will be instrumental in identifying potential sponsors and CROs, building a robust sales pipeline, and ensuring a smooth transition of qualified opportunities to the Business Development team. This role also involves managing RFP administration, coordinating strategy calls, and tracking change orders in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Drives Opportunity Development by:

  • Identifying sponsors and CROs early in the sales cycle.
  • Building and qualifying pipeline opportunities.
  • Handing off qualified leads to the Medical Imaging BD team.
  • Maintaining oversight of opportunities in Salesforce.

Supports RFP and Proposal Processes by:

  • Acknowledging RFP receipt and liaising with clients for complete information.
  • Entering opportunities and uploading supplemental materials into the CRM system.
  • Administering pricing tools and managing proposal deliverables.
  • Coordinating internal strategy calls and managing rebid requests.

Ensures Smooth Sales Operations by:

  • Following up on change order contracts and managing close dates in Salesforce.
  • Supporting sales account teams in business-generating efforts.
  • Participating in cross-functional meetings with Sales Operations and Services teams.
  • Performing other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharma/clinical trials, sales, technical writing, proposals, or budget development.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client interaction skills.
  • Medical Imaging knowledge is a plus.
