Position Overview

Twilio is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive high-quality pipeline generation for its programmable communication solutions, including Messaging, Voice, Email, and Customer Engagement APIs. This role will focus on the Brazilian B2B tech ecosystem, acting as a strategic frontline for Twilio's go-to-market execution by nurturing early-stage enterprise and high-growth startup opportunities.

About the Job

This position is crucial for expanding Twilio's reach within Brazil's rapidly evolving B2B tech landscape. The Sales Development Representative will be instrumental in identifying and qualifying potential clients for Twilio's innovative communication solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business opportunities.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads for Twilio's Customer Engagement Platform, with a specific focus on Segment, Flex, Verify, and Messaging APIs.
  • Conduct discovery calls in Portuguese and occasionally in English (for global accounts) to understand customer pain points and business use cases.
  • Strategically align outreach efforts with regional market dynamics, particularly within the fintech, retail, logistics, and digital health verticals.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Marketing teams to tailor messaging and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Utilize Salesforce, Salesloft, and internal intelligence tools to manage pipeline and track performance metrics.

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS, CX, or API-first sales environments, ideally within cloud communications or CX technologies from global companies.
  • Mastery of sales qualification frameworks such as BANT, CHAMP, or MEDDIC.
  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), Sales Engagement Tools (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach), and data enrichment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
  • Self-driven, metrics-oriented, and adaptable to working within a cross-functional, multicultural team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or Information Technology.

Desired:

  • Solid understanding of APIs, CPaaS platforms, customer data platforms (CDPs), and omnichannel communications in a CX context.
  • Ability to develop value-based messaging, tailor narratives for different personas (technical vs. business), and confidently conduct live demos or discovery calls.
  • Strong business acumen, customer empathy, and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent time management skills, autonomy in remote workflows, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and thriving in cross-functional teams.

Location

  • Remote: This role is fully remote.
  • Based in: São Paulo, Brazil.

Travel

  • Approximately 5% travel is anticipated to facilitate in-person relationship-building with customers and colleagues.
