Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or equivalent microbiology experience from a laboratory, along with a proven sales track record in a similar industry which is not a requirement. Strong capabilities to interact effectively with partners at all levels within an organization, the ability to function exceptionally in a high-performance team, and excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are also required. Proficiency in Finnish and English, and holding a Full Clean Driving License valid in Finland are essential qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Sales Account Manager Microbiology will develop, maintain, and complete a territory plan to support achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets, participate in sales, product, and systems training, marketing campaigns, and special projects. They will host and represent the company at trade shows within assigned accounts or relevant associations, analyze and capitalize on territory opportunities, communicate key competitor activities, trends, and changing customer plans and priorities, and provide written and verbal communication of successes and failures. Furthermore, they will coordinate and prepare quotations/bids within company guidelines, maintain and increase the current customer database through the Company customer relations management software (Sales Force CRM), and accurately forecast revenues.
