Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, and at least 5 years of experience in sales or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of Illumina’s technology and products, along with the ability to learn and adapt to evolving product portfolios, is required. Experience working with academic institutions, research centers, and business organizations is beneficial.
The District Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing strategies to obtain new customers and maintain existing accounts, engaging with customers to identify sales opportunities, and presenting solutions to meet customer needs. They will also demonstrate capability to negotiate versatile solutions, manage customer relationships post-sale, and work effectively in a team environment to drive revenue opportunities. Additionally, they will take an analytical approach towards executing optimal solutions and continuously learn to improve sales effectiveness.
Supports genomics startups through funding and resources
