Requirements

Candidates should possess 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years of operational accounting experience in a high-growth environment, preferably within a pre-IPO company, and 4+ years of leadership experience. A background in Big 4 audit and startup environments is required, alongside a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, exceptional analytical skills, the ability to handle large volumes of data, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

The Revenue Accounting Manager will analyze and interpret complex contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment, oversee daily operational revenue transactions and processes, assist in the preparation of financial reports, develop and maintain internal controls, partner with Sales, Legal, and GTM teams on contract reviews, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, participate in interactions with external auditors, perform monthly processes, collaborate with FP&A on revenue forecasting, manage commission accruals, and participate in special projects and initiatives.
