Requirements

The Director of Revenue Accounting should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA or similar certification preferred, and have at least 10 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, ideally within a high-growth technology company. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, US GAAP, and SEC reporting requirements is essential, along with experience in complex contract structures and audit preparation. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate leadership skills and experience building and managing teams.

Responsibilities

This role involves owning and scaling global revenue accounting operations, designing and maintaining ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition policies, advising executive stakeholders and external auditors on revenue implications, leading a global revenue accounting team, overseeing billing execution and revenue recognition, partnering with Legal, RevOps, and FP&A to drive alignment, driving month-end revenue close processes, establishing internal controls, and leading revenue automation efforts.
