Strategic Enterprise Sales Director (Retail Technology)

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a media strategy or planning role, or in a cross-channel buying role within agency or multinational client organization. Demonstrated expertise in developing brand, digital marketing and planning strategies, with a fluency in digital media planning. They should possess a passion for creative problem solving, generating unique ideas and pushing the agenda on innovative or experimental approaches that progress our clients marketing practices, and experience working in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
The Retail Strategy Director will develop compelling and original retail strategy by leveraging commercial, shopper, ecommerce, and category data to uncover insights that drive performance for both existing clients and new opportunities. They will write exceptional, insight-led creative briefs that inspire retail media, performance creative, and omnichannel activations across the customer journey, communicate and present clearly and persuasively, translating complex retail and commercial challenges into clear, actionable thinking for clients and internal teams. The role requires a deep understanding of the retail landscape, across channels (DTC, Amazon, Walmart, Target, Criteo retailers, wholesale, and bricks-and-mortar) and formats, to guide strategic decisions and drive relevance. They will analyze the competitive landscape—assessing pricing, assortment, and promotional tactics—to uncover strategic white space and inform campaign or content strategy, partner with clients on promotional strategy, contributing to go-to-market planning, seasonal initiatives, and full-funnel execution, and develop trusted relationships with retail and marketing clients, understanding their commercial priorities, category dynamics, and organizational structures. Additionally, they will identify and activate business growth opportunities, including cross-selling Jellyfish capabilities (e.g. retail media, creative automation) and upselling solutions aligned with client needs.
