Requirements

  • Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour)
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs
  • Provide excellent customer service at the front end and act as a liaison between customers and management
  • Provide register coverage as needed and support cashiers with complex transactions
  • Assist manager with scheduling, workflow, and department presentation standards
  • Monitor Front End associates to ensure they meet performance expectations
  • Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards
  • Promote and provide training on company programs
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Create an inclusive store environment
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team
