Requirements

Candidates must possess at least 6 years of prior work experience as a Resident Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, or Support Engineer, and must meet the requirements of DoD 8570 IATII or 8140 Cyber Def Infra Support Specialist - Intermediate. An active US SECRET clearance or higher is required, and applicants must be able to obtain and maintain such clearance. Familiarity with IPSEC, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS protocols, along with proxy, SSL, and authentication systems (SAML, LDAP, SCIM) is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Resident Engineer will collaborate with the Zscaler Professional Services team to ensure client success, integrate Zscaler solutions into customer environments by providing configuration guidance and recommendations, assist customers with testing and troubleshooting, escalate issues to appropriate Zscaler teams, provide regular status reports, and respond to unplanned events, including after-hours support and travel to customer locations as needed.
