Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a Project Management role, preferably within the consumer environments industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, is required, along with an understanding of ERP fundamentals. Experience in wood and/or metal manufacturing and expertise in architectural/interior design technical knowledge are preferred. The ability to work independently, multitask, communicate professionally both verbally and in writing, and possess strong organizational skills and a team player mentality are critical. Proven experience leading smaller programs and project coordinators is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will coordinate and manage all project phases, including RFP, order confirmations, sales orders, detailing, purchasing, production, delivery, and installation. They will develop and manage project timelines, obtain customer approval, monitor progress, and provide updates. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving design/detail architectural fixture drawings, actively managing customer inventories and re-orders, and monitoring production through work-in-process reviews and labor/costing reports. The role also involves assisting in the development of corrective actions, managing finished goods inventory, supporting program estimating and costing, and pursuing revenue and gross margin growth. The Project Manager is expected to act as an extension of the customer's team with a focus on customer advocacy.
