Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent customer service or call center experience. Bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, in a business environment are required. Employees must have a hard-wired internet connection meeting specific speed and latency requirements (Ping/Latency 100ms or less; Download 25MBPS; Upload 5MPBS; Packet loss 0%) and be able to work any 40-hour work week between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Employees are also required to be on video during internal meetings and trainings.
The Customer Resource Associate will respond to customer calls, inquiries, requests, and complaints, requiring research and investigation to reach resolution. They will deliver superior customer service in a prompt, respectful, and courteous manner, ensuring customer concerns are resolved. Responsibilities include completing training on the waste services industry, Republic Services' processes, services, and policies, and responding accurately to routine issues regarding residential and commercial service matters. The associate will also return calls, emails, and faxes in a timely manner, review individual performance metrics with a manager, enter service data into the computer, and log customer service interactions into systems, updating information accurately.
