Requirements

Candidates should possess 15+ years of Account Management experience in wood and/or metal manufacturing, preferably within the retail store fixture industry. They must have 10+ years of experience leading and managing a project management team in a large manufacturing company, demonstrating a proven ability to create and maintain spreadsheets using MS Office programs like Word and Excel. Furthermore, a foundational understanding of ERP fundamentals and architectural/interior design technical knowledge expertise are required, alongside the ability to work independently while multitasking and effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive (Lead Project Manager) will be responsible for the successful execution of assigned accounts, coordinating customer design definition, value engineering, internal communication, and manufacturing, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer service. Key duties include growing customer account value through strategic business planning, acquiring new account growth, defining and training staff excellence, developing project timelines, coordinating with the Master Scheduler and Purchasing Department, monitoring production, facilitating outsourcing, and providing technical backup to Sales and Estimating. Additionally, the role involves participating in prototype development, managing cost of quality, performing postmortems, providing monthly sales forecasts, and facilitating customer inventory reports, while also visiting manufacturing locations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
