About the Role

Matillion is recruiting a Regional Vice President to manage and grow the existing UK Enterprise sales team. This role is crucial for driving revenue and customer acquisition by achieving new logo and consumption revenue targets within the UK Enterprise segment. The RVP will be responsible for overseeing the sales process, implementing best practices, ensuring operational excellence, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). A key aspect of this role involves nurturing team members to foster internal talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Regional Enterprise Sales Team.
  • Manage and develop a team of Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Drive quota achievement for the enterprise segment.
  • Establish a KPI framework for transparent team performance tracking against goals.
  • Implement and coach the Matillion sales methodology and best practices to enhance team performance.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts for the region.
  • Adhere to and contribute to the Matillion sales execution Playbook.
  • Motivate the team to exceed goals through effective coaching and incentives.
  • Recruit and retain top-tier sales talent.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, utilizing peer networks for benchmarking.
  • Proactively utilize new technology and web resources, with a focus on innovation.
  • Contribute to process and system design and administration.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of marketing and sales operations.
  • Build a KPI framework for transparent goal attainment measurement via dashboards and reports.
  • Diligently maintain all systems, including Salesforce CRM/Clari, prioritizing data quality.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork across departments.
  • Build strong working relationships with all Matillion teams, including Sales Operations, Field Sales, Marketing, Solution Architecture, and Alliances.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure optimal product delivery.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing initiatives based on interactions with prospects and customers.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with GTM members and across the company to maximize productivity.

Requirements

Essential

  • Over 10 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or enterprise software sales, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • A minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, including positive and energetic demeanor, strong listening skills, effective writing, and a collaborative team-player attitude when working with peers, sales management, and external lead-generation agencies.
