Requirements

Candidates are required to have three plus years of district management, multi-agency management, or equivalent industry insurance experience, along with three plus years of experience in leading sales teams including hiring, training, developing, and retaining sales managers and insurance sales agents. They must possess a successful record of sales growth, retention of employees, and talent development, and understand basic data management skills such as Excel and Tableau. Furthermore, proficiency in digital tools like online insurance application platforms is necessary, and candidates should be highly motivated, a natural self-starter, and possess strong planning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

The Regional Vice President will manage a regional agency channel, achieving revenue generation through new business, renewal, and persistency objectives at Kemper Life, by hiring and developing District Managers. They will formulate and implement sales strategies, create and maintain a talent pipeline for district managers and sales managers, ensure proper recruitment and selection of agents, implement best practices, and ensure that direct and indirect reports are accountable to company policies and procedures. The Regional Vice President will also achieve expected/budgeted financial and production targets, supervise and develop assigned districts/district managers, and drive results across a team of sales professionals.
