- Salary: Base pay range: $65,500 - $125,000. Target total cash compensation (including sales incentive): $276,500 - $336,000.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Vice President with a passion for building strong relationships and driving growth in life insurance sales across our Mid-Atlantic territory. This role involves being the primary contact for key brokerage partners, providing strategic support, training, and collaboration to help them grow.
Responsibilities
- Manage Traditional Life Insurance (IUL, VUL, Term) sales for assigned BGAs in the Mid-Atlantic territory (PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA & WV).
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Principals, their employees, and supported advisors through personal visits.
- Develop strong partnerships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and general agencies by offering value-added sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the assigned Internal Sales Consultant to ensure consistent sales messaging and completion of administrative tasks.
- Maintain a detailed database of existing and prospective sellers, using data to customize sales campaigns.
- Conduct frequent sales activities and product training for existing and prospective partners.
- Organize and conduct public and client appreciation seminars/events.
- Manage travel expenses and premium budgets effectively.
- Deliver administrative reports in a timely manner.
- Assist marketing and product development in creating materials and launching new products.
Requirements
- External wholesaling experience, preferably with individual life insurance products.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
- Demonstrated sales skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong results orientation.
- Technical proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, email, CRM, and other relevant software.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to a growing organization.
- Ability to manage expenses, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- Must possess or obtain within six months: life/health license and FINRA Series 6 & 63 securities registrations.
- Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong track record in a four-year degree program.
- Prior internal or external wholesaling experience.

Additional Information
- The Sales Senior Consultant must reside in their territory within 12 months of hire if not already a resident.
- Each Sales Senior Consultant will share an Internal Sales Consultant with one other Sales Senior Consultant (2:1 ratio).
- Actual total cash compensation earned will be based on sales results.
