Candidates should possess external wholesaling experience, preferably with individual life insurance products, and demonstrate strong sales skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. They must also have a strong results orientation, technical skills in using spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail, CRM, and other relevant software, and excellent time management skills. Furthermore, candidates need to be able to manage expenses effectively, be fiscally responsible and accountable, and obtain or possess life/health license and FINRA Series 6 & 63 securities registrations within six months. Finally, the ability to travel approximately 70% of the time and a prior four-year degree program are preferred qualifications.
As a Regional Vice President, the individual will manage the Traditional Life Insurance (IUL, VUL, Term) sales effort for assigned BGAs within the Mid-Atlantic territory, building and maintaining relationships with Principals, their employees, and advisors. They will develop strong partnerships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and general agencies, conduct frequent sales activities and product training, deliver administrative reports, assist marketing and product development, and conduct public and client appreciation seminars/events. Additionally, the role involves managing travel expenses and premium budgets, and supporting the combined territories with an Internal Sales Consultant.
