Requirements

  • Experience with electrical control panels, VFD’s, PLCs, SCADA systems, and other electronic systems and instrumentation
  • Submersible Pump/Rotary Equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Electromechanical experience (required)

Responsibilities

  • Perform submersible pump troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Lead service efforts regionally, focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Guide the service efforts of Flygt (and other relevant Xylem brands) OEM service facilities in the region
  • Review and manage service metrics, including repair time to quote, time to repair, and quality/warranty
  • Provide service and shop operational guidance to the Sales/Service branch operations in the assigned area
  • Provide supervision and training to personnel to ensure smooth and effective service operations
  • Interface with end-users handling service problems and start-ups (phone or on-site)
  • Manage equipment repairs for the region and individual service centers
  • Assist with scheduling equipment, resources, and employees for large projects
  • Assist the Regional Operations Manager and Service Center Managers to streamline operational processes and create standards within the region
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance the customer experience and increase profitability
  • Oversee customer-owned repairs, field services, start-ups, commissioning, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Provide support to the service call center 24/7/365
