Candidates should possess a two-year technical degree preferred, along with at least two years of experience in mechanical maintenance procedures for turbo machinery, such as gas turbines or centrifugal compressors. Industry experience and Turbomachinery Product Services product line training are required.
The Mechanical Field Service Engineer will perform installation and maintenance activities of turbo rotating equipment in the field at customer sites, coordinate and oversee work at the field site, provide planning instructions to the crew and equipment used, conduct audits, coordinate the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment, be the primary contact for customer coordination, provide records of all activities accomplished at customer sites, execute all required responsibilities safely, conduct troubleshooting on equipment, and perform other related duties as required while adhering to Baker Hughes Core Values.
