Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (in lieu of degree, extensive relevant technical, clinical, or related industry experience may be considered)
  • Must reside within assigned territory as permissible under state law
  • Ability to physically cover and maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers over a large geographic area (minimum of 3+ calls per day on average, including 1 physician call per day; phone contact alone is not adequate)
  • Willingness to travel by automobile, train, or airplane, including overnight stays, and occasional weekend work for trade shows
  • Physical ability to lift and transport medical equipment and supplies, set up portable booths, and perform essential functions (reasonable accommodations for disabilities)
  • Proficiency in using Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool daily, APTTUS Contract Management Software Program, and maintaining accurate reports
  • Technical and clinical proficiency on all products
  • Compliance with Code of Business Conduct, company policies, local/state/federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to exercise good judgment within defined procedures

Responsibilities

  • Develop professional expertise and apply company policies/procedures to achieve quarterly sales goals for assigned renal products in the territory
  • Execute sales objectives: provide accurate sales targets/forecasts, plan/deliver/measure results, achieve consistent face-to-face customer calls, maintain reports on sales calls/market shares/demographics/targets, identify threats/opportunities using data/feedback
  • Attend local Network, ANNA, and regional shows relevant to the business
  • Participate in national sales meetings and all required training
  • Communicate/collaborate effectively with supervisor and company personnel to plan/achieve success
  • Develop strong customer relationships, deliver customer-centric solutions, identify needs, sell complete value of Fresenius products/services, provide excellent follow-up/service
  • Support Fresenius Clinical Support Specialist with physical presence during equipment evaluations
  • Coordinate in-services, technical, and sales support to meet customer needs/expectations
  • Utilize CRM tool daily: maintain/update customer contact/sales call info, enter/close appointments including products discussed
  • Maintain accurate/timely management of customer contracts using APTTUS
  • Complete administrative duties (e.g., expense reports) within budget, assist with projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
