They should have experience navigating complex sales cycles lasting 2-6 months, demonstrate excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, and be comfortable working closely with C-Level executives. Furthermore, they need a consistent track record in shaping strategic seven-figure deals, expertise in MEDDPICC, and experience working with ROI and cost modeling. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills are essential, along with an unwavering dedication to integrity and professionalism.
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing and mentoring their sales team, building and maintaining an annual sales plan to over-achieve revenue targets, directing sales activities by establishing territories and quotas, meeting with prospects and strategizing with sales representatives to close deals, building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with key contacts, strategically partnering with Marketing, Solution Engineers, R&D, and Customer Support, and consistently driving revenue growth and talent acquisition within their assigned territory.
