Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Language, or Business Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience in corporate communications, internal communications or public relations in B2B and multinational environments
  • Relevant experience in developing and implementing regional communications plan across Asia
  • Exceptional English writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and audiences. Proficiency in one or more Asian languages is a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic mindset, strong ability to comprehend complex information into clear, compelling narratives tailored to diverse stakeholders, including employees, managers and senior executives
  • High level of cultural awareness and ability to collaborate effectively across geographies and different stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Proactive and agile, committed to continuous learning, embracing new challenges and staying ahead of industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact to plan and execute internal and external communications programs at a corporate level in Asia by working with diverse stakeholders from the business and enabling functions to advance the region’s sustainable growth through raising corporate profile, building a positive company image, driving employee engagement, and managing change
  • Represent Asia in collaboration with Global Communications Team to plan, deploy, and execute global corporate communications programs in Asia to support global Corporate Communications Team’s objectives
  • Serve as the chief editor and process owner for the internal company’s online platform in Asia overseeing the editorial calendar for the regional edition
  • Serve as the Center of Excellence in Asia and represent the region on the global core team managing change, issues, and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with Korea, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan key stakeholders to drive and execute corporate communications initiatives to support sub-region goals and needs
  • Work closely with Human Resources Team on talent acquisition and retention, change management and other internal initiatives to advance the company's culture and drive employees' engagement to build Belong and Matter
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Marketing Teams to plan and execute integrated communications program to maximize the impact of marketing promotion through media relations and public relations
  • Create, edit and review communication materials with engaging content, including news releases, speeches, executive communications, general employee communications, newsletters, capability brochures, presentations and videos for both internal and external use
  • Build and maintain media relations to raise corporate profile, build positive influence and enhance thought leadership in the industry
  • Plan and execute digital communications and social media programs at a corporate level in Asia to strengthen brand awareness and engagement in the new digital age. Maintain the company's websites with a focus on corporate-level content
  • Support crisis communications to protect the company's reputation and minimize negative impact
