Requirements

At least 16 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience working with the public (preferred)
Effective communication skills, oral & written
Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Neat & clean appearance in compliance with company grooming standards
Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time
Work well as part of a team
Knowledgeable about all aspects of Palisades Tahoe or able to locate information; general knowledge of Alpine (preferred)
Experience operating heavy equipment such as Zamboni, holder, skid-steer and forklift (preferred)
Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including exposure to outside winter weather conditions

Responsibilities

Provide customers with top quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner
Greet all guests and answer questions about Palisades Tahoe activities and equipment
Assist in setting up activity equipment
Ensure all guests know the activity rules
Conduct safety training and assist guests with becoming familiar with the operation of the activity, safety, and procedures
Rent equipment, process cash, credit cards or debit payments, and perform account closeout at the end of the day
Maintain the tube runs, ice rink, or snowmobile track; shovel or rake snow to provide a consistent surface
Maintain the cleanliness of the activity area; pick up litter, empty trash, snow removal as necessary; ensure facility maintains a clean and professional appearance
Assist with the cleaning, repair, inspection, and maintenance of the activity equipment
Operate heavy equipment such as Zamboni, holder, skid-steer, and forklift to remove snow and clear Ice Skating Rink (may)
