Candidates should possess expert knowledge in understanding digital products and their features, developing and executing test scenarios for web or mobile applications, and diagnosing, reporting, and tracking defects. A strong understanding of requirements validation and applying industry-standard testing processes is essential, along with familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), UI automated testing tools, and proficiency in tools like JIRA and Confluence is also required. An ISTQB foundation certification is preferred.
The QA Engineer will develop and create comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough product coverage. They will perform manual and exploratory testing to identify defects and document them, collaborating with development teams for resolutions. The engineer will validate requirements, create supporting documentation such as Test Plans and Test Summary Reports, and contribute to project planning and task estimation. Additionally, they will proactively assess risks, suggest mitigation strategies, and uphold QA processes and best practices across the team.
