Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience, along with 5 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office products. A basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and problem-solving is required, as is familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems and technical writing. The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory. Nice-to-have qualifications include military cyber experience, familiarity with SQL or other database technologies, knowledge of virtualization or cloud technologies like Docker, vSphere, Ansible, or AWS, understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle, and experience refining scripts with Bash, Python, or Javascript.

Responsibilities

The part-time QA Test Engineer will help develop and maintain manual functional/user-acceptance tests for software product development. They will work with development and field operations teams to evaluate features, identify, examine, and document defects. Responsibilities include performing software product testing, investigating problem causes, developing functional end-to-end regression tests in manual environments, and writing software defect reports and feature requests. The engineer will also troubleshoot product defects and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
