Requirements

Candidates should possess extensive testing experience working in data-centric environments, including data migration, data pipeline (ETL), and streaming, and demonstrate experience gathering testing requirements by developing Feature files and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders, translating them into scripts. Furthermore, candidates must have extensive back-end testing experience with Linux and a strong understanding of security principles. A UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance is required, or the ability to obtain one with a minimum of 5 years of UK residency.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will review requirements and design documents to generate test cases, create and review testing strategies, plans, and designs, and create and review and optimizing testing processes. You will prepare and execute test scenarios (BDD/TDD) to test the application, network, and infrastructure solution at all levels, produce Test Reports, and document test results including evidence of any testing defects. You will report progress, including risks and issues, investigate issues and work with the team to identify root cause and resolution, analyze data and test evidence to show compliance to requirements, and effectively communicate with all members of the Agile delivery team.
