Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They should have experience working with project management teams, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines, along with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation). The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, a self-starter attitude for learning new tools and processes, and in-depth experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation. Strong observational and analytical skills, including data collection, organization, analysis, and reporting metrics, are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives. Familiarity with various project management methodologies is also required.
The Program Manager III is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of internal information and system-specific projects from initiation to delivery, including network, server, software implementation, upgrades, and PC deployment. This includes defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments, developing detailed project plans, and managing implementation processes such as resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget. The role involves managing multiple, complex, cross-functional, and technical projects, partnering with functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, and driving project milestones from concept to closure. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, defining project scope and objectives, using metrics and KPIs to measure project performance, driving internal process improvements, accounting for risks and providing mitigation strategies, and serving as the primary project point of contact for vendors and stakeholders. The role also includes coordinating meetings, evaluating post-project results, and recommending improvements to delivery practices and processes.
