Requirements

Candidates should have at least 4 years of program or project management experience in software product development and experience driving delivery across multiple cross-functional teams and workstreams. Strong organization and communication skills, including managing stakeholders at varying levels of seniority, are required. Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, and project tracking dashboards is necessary, along with the ability to work independently and flexibly in fast-paced, evolving environments. Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, a team-first mindset with a bias toward action and problem-solving, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience are also essential. Experience in healthcare, insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries, familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe methodologies, and program management certifications are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Program Manager will drive cross-functional planning and execution for new product and platform initiatives across Gravie’s ICHRA ecosystem. They will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and other teams to coordinate delivery timelines, scope, and resourcing. Key program ceremonies and checkpoints, including kickoff, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and retrospectives, will be facilitated. The role involves tracking and reporting on delivery status, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple workstreams. Blockers will be identified and resolved quickly by proactively escalating, coordinating, or adjusting timelines as needed. Artifacts that improve team alignment and transparency, such as timelines, trackers, RAID logs, and dashboards, will be built and maintained. Execution excellence will be championed while supporting flexibility in how teams deliver. Continuous improvement of Gravie’s product development and program management practices will be contributed to, and other duties as assigned will be performed.

About Gravie

Gravie provides health benefits by offering straightforward and affordable health plans, primarily targeting individuals and small to midsize businesses. Their main product, Comfort, stands out because it has no deductible and no copays for most common healthcare services, allowing members to access care without unexpected costs. Additionally, Comfort includes virtual care options for musculoskeletal and mental health issues. Gravie also offers a payment solution called Gravie Pay, which enables members to pay for healthcare expenses interest-free, further easing financial stress. Unlike traditional health plans, Gravie claims that Comfort members save on out-of-pocket costs, and employers switching to Gravie often see lower premium expenses. The company has a high retention rate, indicating that many employees choose to continue with the Comfort plan in subsequent years. Gravie's goal is to simplify health benefits and reduce the financial burden of healthcare for its members.
