  • Experience in successfully managing ambitious, strategic, and operationally complex programs

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management activities for the NA SSC resulting from the design and deployment of a new ERP tool, Workday, across WPP in North America; and the WPP transformation program
  • Develop and manage plans, deadlines, deliverables and ongoing reporting for NA SSC initiatives; work with other Functional Leads to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs; build and maintain overall roadmap planning and tracking
  • Display meticulous program management capabilities by owning project plans, milestone tracking, and status reporting, managing dependencies, delivery timelines and implementation plans
  • Actively manage, report on and escalate risks and issues while developing mitigation plans to address them
  • Ensure dependencies are met and actions are assigned, agreed, and closed on time; attention to details is key
  • Optimize or use a standard program delivery methodology for delivering program goals (e.g., agile, waterfall, iterative)
  • Pro-actively investigate pain points to identify opportunities that contribute to moving the needle in direction of program objectives
  • Drive collaboration and accountability across the organization, multiple stakeholders, and wider teams to ensure delivery of program goals as well as efficient and on-time program implementation
