Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of Public Sector experience, preferably in presales and/or Professional Services. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with an MA/MS/MBA degree being a plus. A minimum of 5+ years of Enterprise software Implementation and/or Scoping experience is required, with a focus on Integrations, data migrations, technology consulting, project management, or customer management. Relevant experience working in Sales in areas such as prescribing services related to upselling, cross-selling, change orders, or solution best practices is necessary. Excellent business and technical presentation skills, communication (oral & written), and relationship-building skills across all management levels are essential. Experience with scoping, drafting, and presenting services options and SOWs to clients virtually and in-person is required. Experience responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) is needed, with technical writing experience being preferred. Experience co-scoping services with third-party service providers is also required.

Responsibilities

The Professional Services Solutions Consultant will support the sale of Procore's Professional Services, focusing on product integrations, migrations, and customizations. They will partner with sales and professional services teams to link sales cycle commitments with service delivery. Responsibilities include helping prospects architect best practice strategies, solving customer business problems using design and analysis skills, and transferring processes into technology. The role involves using deep knowledge in consulting methodologies and Enterprise software systems to inspire customer confidence. They will scope and prescribe Professional Services offerings for clients and prospective clients to drive adoption and services revenue. Key duties include positioning Procore's Professional Services offerings through value-based selling, tailoring pitches and recommended services to customer needs, and uncovering potential business opportunities through discovery. Creating SOWs and Amendments by being an expert on Procore's technology and representing customer and Professional Services team interests is crucial. The role involves supporting colleagues on complex discovery around integrations and data migrations, and collaborating with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Customer Success Engineers to increase the salability of Procore's service offerings. Additionally, they will collaborate with Services Delivery partners to co-scope professional services engagements and assist Sales on new business opportunities by building proposals for RFPs, supporting sales meetings, and designing/scoping services solutions.
