Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Gracenote’s products, formats and delivery mechanisms, ID structure, content standards, and underlying technology

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document and maintain in-depth knowledge of Gracenote’s products, formats, delivery mechanisms, ID structure, content standards, and underlying technology to assist in creating and implementing Gracenote solutions for customer needs
  • Act as an internal consultant and SME for teams engaged in Pre-Sales and Implementation work
  • Review client use cases and requirements, create proof-of-concepts, perform data analysis, and align product solutions to meet complex client business problems
  • Support the Product Solutions Team, Customer and Partner Success, and Sales organizations in technical pre-sales activities by assessing potential application of company products or services, providing in-depth product and technical overviews to potential customers, and recommending solutions that meet customer needs
  • Gather client use cases and requirements, proactively develop and propose technical solutions that clarify how Gracenote products bring business value to address critical challenges faced by customers
  • Support Customer and Partner Success in the early implementation phase of customer engagement as the technical subject matter expert and consultant, engaging with client-side Engineering teams to answer questions and provide implementation recommendations and guidance
  • Provide level-2 maintenance customer support as requested, working with Gracenote Product and Engineering teams to identify delivery issues and prioritize resolution
  • Participate in the collection of data and information in response to and drafting of RFP/RFIs and other new business opportunity inquiries and proposals
  • Participate in the creation and review of Customer Experience processes and documentation, including project pages, client-facing product documentation, "Best Practices" documentation, and "Solution Design" documents
  • Support product development efforts to enhance existing products, define new products and services, and the requirements associated with customer implementation best practices
  • Act as “Customer Zero” for new client starts to determine the readiness and usability of new products and documentation, providing Product Management and Customer Experience stakeholders with a summary report of findings, issues, and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with Customer & Partner Success, Product (Management, Engineering, Delivery) and Customer Care to develop processes and strategies to improve product delivery quality, particularly around new releases, decrease Sev1 and other escalations, develop new monitoring and early detection reporting, and eliminate situations where clients inform Gracenote of product delivery issues
  • Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge with Gracenote’s product portfolio
