Job Summary

As the Product Marketing Manager for Index Products, you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy and execution for our suite of index solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, client-facing partner marketers, growth marketers, and content marketers, to develop and implement marketing initiatives that enhance our product offerings and drive client engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker ideally with a background in the index, ETF, or securities exchange industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to position our index products effectively in the market.
  • Create compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Partner closely with Product Management/Development and Sales team to fully understand products and intended target audiences.
  • Collaborate on content development for marketing collateral, including brochures, digital experiences, whitepapers, and presentations.
  • Participate in conversations with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our products meet their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-workers and leadership, providing them with insights and updates on our index products.
  • Work with co-marketers to design and implement marketing campaigns that drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  • Partner with growth marketers to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and inform future strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in product marketing within financial services.
  • Experience with an index provider or securities exchange a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

The base pay range for this role is $101,200 - $168,600. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
