Candidates should possess at least 6 years of product management experience in startups or growth-stage companies, with a proven ability to execute and work directly with founders/CEOs in fast-moving environments. A deep sense of customer empathy, exceptional attention to detail, and comfort wearing multiple hats are essential. Familiarity with mobile and web platforms, project management tools like Jira, wiki software like Confluence, and Figma is required, along with strong presentation skills. Bonus points include experience with Figma for wireframing, an interest in urban design and transportation, and experience with complex operational businesses, payment processing, marketplaces, or combined hardware/software products.
The Product Manager will own the full product development lifecycle, including writing detailed specs, managing sprints, and coordinating internal communications to drive execution. They will act as a liaison across engineering, design, sales, and support teams, engaging with users, performing QA, maintaining documentation, and managing bug triage. Responsibilities also include preparing for new initiatives by talking to partners, researching integrations, negotiating pricing, and gathering customer insights, as well as ensuring smooth product launches and communicating changes. The role involves partnering with the CEO to shape the product roadmap, collecting company-wide input to adjust priorities, tracking competitors and market shifts, and working closely with the product designer to create an intuitive user experience.
