Requirements

Responsibilities

The Produce Category Lead will shape and scale the Fresh Produce assortment, defining and executing a data-informed category strategy to maximize customer satisfaction, drive sales and profitability, and uphold the company's mission. This includes owning the end-to-end category management for Fresh Produce, from strategy and product development to vendor and item selection, packaging, and merchandising. Responsibilities also include building and managing supplier partnerships, unlocking value through cost optimization and vendor performance management, and identifying innovation opportunities. The role involves leveraging data and customer insights to inform category strategy, managing the product lifecycle, steering long-term assortment health, and ensuring category compliance and quality in partnership with food safety and regulatory teams.
