Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Construction Management)
  • Relevant work experience in a related industry including energy, engineering, or construction
  • A minimum of 5 years managing large-scale projects, preferably in the energy, infrastructure or construction sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management for EPC, D&C or LTSA
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and project risk management
  • Proficient in project management practices
  • Proven ability to engage with senior leadership
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience to autonomously contract manage complex agreements
  • Strong financial reporting skills and ability to analyse financial information
  • Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial governance during the project phase, collaborating closely with the project team, legal, engineering, sales leads and procurement
  • Closing commercial negotiations with suppliers and governing the subcontract execution
  • Providing guidance and practical support in claims, EOT, contract correspondence and contract administration
  • Actively manage contractual risks and opportunities
  • Assisting in dispute matters with all relevant parties within the organisation which would include legal, project team and procurement
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors
  • Some ad hoc travel may be required domestically
