Experience in application of lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual/Daily Management, Problem Solving

Responsibilities

Provide support to production escalations in respect to Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing
Take ownership of problem solving and follow up on production issues. Troubleshoot and correct problems that may arise throughout the process
Monitor/trend/analyze KPI’s and make recommendations to manager regarding efficiency improvements and performance standards (Plan-Do-Check-Act)
Assist in Quality Assurance tasks by driving to root cause, writing MOCs and SOPs, and development of processes for new products
Lead cross functional Projects (define, plan, execute and follow-up/sustain) in the assigned value stream related to growth and efficiency. Act as SME and feasibility expert for projects as you will have the helicopter view of internal manufacturing activities
Take ownership of the implementation of improvements of all types by hands on implementation in the lab or by working with Specialists, Lab Technicians, and other Value streams
