Flipp partners with North American retailers and brands to deliver local promotions and savings to millions of shoppers daily. The Shopper Consideration Platform helps retailers and manufacturers create digital experiences from their savings and deals content, assisting shoppers in deciding what to buy and where to buy it. Flipp's Partner Technology team provides technical support and solutions for integrations with external technology platforms.

The Senior Technical Account Lead is responsible for developing and managing the technical relationship with enterprise-level retailers and delivering ad-hoc retailer projects for mid-market retailers. They act as a trusted technical advisor, facilitating the adoption of Flipp's solutions and consulting on how to best leverage Flipp services. They also provide support to mid-market retailers where strategic intervention is needed to drive value.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of technical strategies, consult on solutions, and build tailored plans for each partnership to foster long-lasting relationships with retail partners.
  • Leverage retailer and Flipp product knowledge to identify solutions for tactical and strategic retailer problems and opportunities, such as increasing user engagement with the digital circular.
  • Project manage and oversee the delivery of onboarding and strategic ad hoc projects for enterprise and mid-market retailers, ensuring smooth execution and delivery on retailer commitments.
  • Act as the technical advocate for retailers internally within Flipp product teams, driving value-focused Retailer Product development.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of demonstrated industry experience in client services, technical pre-sales, technical account management, or project management.
  • Experience handling objections and applying pre-defined technical solutions to overcome them.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Analytics, and Engineering.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and experience working with external client personnel to solve business challenges with technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering internal and external projects.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, APIs, and JSON.
  • Familiarity with E-commerce systems (e.g., Magento, Demandware) is an asset but not required.
  • PMP certification is a nice-to-have but not required.
