Senior Solution Architect - AI/ML (Walmart)

Position Overview

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solution Architect with experience in developing AI and ML workflows to join our North America Retail Solution Architecture Team. You will work closely with Walmart, the world's top retailer, to drive NVIDIA technology adoption and secure innovative design wins across Data Center, Edge, and Cloud deployments. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems in Computer Vision, Accelerated Analytics, and Visualization using NVIDIA's innovative platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and demonstrate solutions for customers based on NVIDIA’s Generative AI platforms (NeMo, NIM), ML platform (RAPIDS), and Computer Vision platform (Metropolis).
  • Collaborate closely with Walmart and NVIDIA teams to build innovative blueprints for key Retail Industry use-cases, including:
    • GenAI agents
    • Demand Forecasting
    • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Recommendation systems
    • Computer Vision applications
  • Partner with NVIDIA Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to secure design wins and contribute to the growth of NVIDIA product features through customer feedback.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Software Engineer with a proven track record in developing AI and GenAI workflows.
  • Proficiency in writing code in Python.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and code through GitHub, documentation, and presentations.
  • Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering/Research, Sales, Product, and Marketing.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including technical presentation abilities.
  • Self-starter with a passion for growth, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and a willingness to share findings across the team.

Ways to Stand Out

  • External customer-facing skill-set and background.
  • Development experience with NVIDIA software platforms, libraries, and GPUs.
  • Experience working with Commercial and Open Source AI & GenAI solutions.
  • Knowledge of MLOps technologies such as Docker/containers, Kubernetes, and data center deployments.
  • Experience architecting world-class, end-to-end AI pipelines and architectures.
