Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and delivering projects for financial investors in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, including private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds. They should possess strong client relationship management skills, a deep understanding of pharmaceutical and life sciences strategy, and demonstrated success in business development, including selling complex strategy and operations engagements. Experience in identifying, recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent is also essential, along with an extensive network within the Private Equity and VC community and proven capability to identify new revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

The Principal/Sr Principal will lead client engagements, ensuring outstanding client service and satisfaction by developing and delivering insightful strategies for complex client issues. They will be responsible for creating and elevating new business opportunities, identifying new revenue streams, and acting as the principal owner of client engagements with ultimate responsibility for quality and added value. This role involves providing direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams, ensuring high-level input into client reports and presentations, and delivering findings to clients. Additionally, the position requires leading thought leadership and firm-building initiatives, staying current on industry trends, contributing to the awareness of Consulting Services through various channels, participating in performance review processes, engaging in recruitment, and mentoring team members to develop their capabilities.
