Candidates must be a sophomore or junior in computer science, engineering, or a related field. They should be comfortable with at least one programming language such as Python or JavaScript. Curiosity about startups and a creative problem-solving ability are essential. The ability to work independently, ship quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, small-team environment is required. A commitment of approximately 10 hours per week for 6 months is expected. Experience building internal tools, automation workflows, or founder resources is a plus, as is familiarity with React, Python, and/or APIs, along with product thinking skills.
The Engineering Fellow will identify opportunities to save founders and investors time through better tools and automation. They will translate needs into simple, impactful workflows and build solutions that require minimal maintenance. The fellow will choose the most appropriate approach for building solutions, whether it involves buying existing software, using low-code/no-code tools, or building from scratch.
