About The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of Chainlink products across the capital markets industry as we continue to expand our presence there. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to evangelize Chainlink technology across the finance industry and work directly with technical teams at major institutions to gather requirements, scope projects, and deliver innovative solutions that address the complex needs of their stakeholders. You will also work directly with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Legal, and make a significant contribution to the ongoing development of the Chainlink capital markets product strategy.

Your Impact

• Drive Adoption: Lead the successful adoption of Chainlink products in the capital markets industry by establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including major financial institutions, and providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales and implementation process.
• Solution Design: Lead and actively participate in gathering requirements, scoping projects, and designing innovative solutions that leverage Chainlink products to address specific use cases and challenges within the capital markets industry.
• Product Strategy: Contribute significantly to the development of the Chainlink capital markets product strategy by providing valuable insights, market feedback, and technical expertise, thereby influencing the direction and roadmap of the product suite.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, including developers and engineers, to provide feedback and guidance on product enhancements, bug fixes, and new feature development, ensuring that capital markets requirements are effectively addressed.
• Market Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the capital markets industry, including market trends, challenges, and emerging technologies, to effectively position and promote Chainlink products.

Requirements

• Technical Pre/Post-Sales Experience: Proven experience working with major institutions within capital markets, including pre-sales and post-sales technical engagement.
• Blockchain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and associated areas such as DeFi, tokenization / digital assets, and digital identity.
• Integration Experience: Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, and APIs.
• PoC Development: Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional and technical elements of proposals independently and effectively.
• Location: Must be based in the USA or Canada and situated within Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Preferred Requirements

• Programming Languages: Experience with Solidity, Golang, Rust, JS, Java, Python, C/C++.
• Infrastructure & Security: Experience with networking protocols, private IP environments, cloud infrastructure, and the implementation of SSL/TLS security measures.
• Capital Markets Knowledge: Familiarity with capital markets concepts, financial instruments, and trading processes, including Corporate Actions, PMS, OMS, Exchanges, FMIs, and Clearing Houses.
