Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience, or an Advanced degree and 2 years of relevant work experience, or a PhD and 0 years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience with Golang, 2 years of experience with AWS, and 2 years of experience with infrastructure as code, tracing, and monitoring tools are required. Experience with design systems and architecture is necessary. Candidates must be based in the United States. Experience with Java/Groovy and working with critical systems are desirable qualifications.
Responsibilities
The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of projects using Golang and Java, with deployment on AWS. They will participate in technical analysis with product team requirements, execute Terraform for AWS resource management, and monitor applications through logs and metrics. Performing code reviews is also a key responsibility.
