Candidates must possess 15+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, or related domains. Proven expertise in designing infrastructure deployments for mission-critical, self-healing enterprise systems is required, along with demonstrated proficiency in cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their service portfolios. Expertise in designing and implementing microservices and serverless architectures is also necessary.
The Principal Infrastructure Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure ecosystems, serving as a strategic partner to application teams for seamless full-stack solution integration across hybrid environments. Responsibilities include developing infrastructure architecture roadmaps, defining hosting architectures for cloud-native and hybrid platforms, evaluating emerging technologies, and aligning strategy with FinOps principles. The architect will ensure designs meet enterprise standards for zero-trust, resiliency, disaster recovery, and high availability, establish performance benchmarks, and proactively identify risks. They will embed security and compliance requirements into designs, integrate DevSecOps practices, collaborate with security and audit teams, and implement governance processes. The role involves acting as a trusted advisor, partnering with application and operations teams, leading cross-functional discussions, and mentoring technical teams. Additionally, the architect will drive automation-first principles using IaC and CI/CD, implement observability platforms, evaluate AI/ML frameworks, and champion modernization initiatives.
