Experienced software engineer specializing in developing solutions through Salesforce SaaS
Extensive expertise in Salesforce Service Commerce and Experience development
Keen focus on designing scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce services
In-depth technical knowledge of specific technical domains
Ability to lead and deliver on projects of highly ambiguous scope, high complexity, and critical business impact
Capability to resolve highest priority business problems or fires quickly and help prevent future occurrences
Skills to mentor other engineers and provide constructive, candid feedback
Ability to give technical and strategic feedback on projects leading to better outcomes
Competence in working on complex and unknown problems under pressure (e.g., debugging complex production issues at speed, leading resolution of critical or major incidents)
Ability to lead the design process for complex technical problems
Skills to champion best practices in software engineering, including micro-services architecture, API-First and event-based integration, Cloud Native/SaaS hosting, and headless CMS
Ability to articulate technical risks clearly and confidently to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., legal, compliance)
Effective communication when representing Engineering to external stakeholders

Responsibilities

Act as the highest skilled individual contributor, cooperating closely with Salesforce DevOps teams supporting Customer Service, B2B Commerce, and Consumer Relation Management systems
Drive the strategic direction of the Salesforce ecosystem and ensure seamless platform integration across the Salesforce estate
Contribute to team or domain goals through leading and delivering high-impact projects
Proactively contribute to the betterment of other engineers via mentoring and feedback
Provide technical and strategic feedback on relevant projects
Impact the company's trajectory by working on the most impactful problems and driving change
Link technical contributions to business impact and help others understand this
Lead team to good technical outcomes, ensuring decisions factor in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, monitoring/observability, and business needs
Propose changes to technical scope for changing business priorities or urgency
Lead refactoring of complex systems or problems, making pragmatic trade-offs on perfection and technical debt
Contribute to architecture forums and initiatives improving engineering practices
